We had a great first week back at school!

Picture Day is coming Monday, September 11th.

Over 200 families joined us for our back-to-school open house on Thursday. Students walked their families through their schedules and parents got to meet students' teachers for the year.

Couldn't make it? Don't worry, here is the presentation.

We didn't let the heatwave stop our PE classes this week! Our creative PE teachers switched to indoor activities on Wednesday and Thursday.

When the weather finally cooled off Friday, we got outside to enjoy the fresh air!

Families, if your child rides the bus, please review the Chippewa bus expectations with your child this weekend. Thank you!

Chippewa offers many after-school activities. It is our hope that every student joins at least one after-school activity during their time in middle school.

Activities are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school from 3-4pm.

There is an Activity Bus that can take students who normally ride the bus home at 4pm at no additional cost.

The application for meal benefits must be completed each school year, and only one application is needed per household. This form is also the school fee waiver form.

The form will be available starting September 1st.

Cross Country is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

Students and parents are invited to a Parent/Student informational meeting on Wednesday, August 30th from 3-4pm.

Please email Ms. Krasinski or Ms. Weeden if you have any questions. krasinskia@d62.org weedenm@d62.org
