Happy Last Week of February!

I it hard to believe that we are already in the last week of February! Winter sure has stuck with us!

Pink Shirt Day will be on Wednesday February 26 to bring increased awareness to students and the community about the importance of not being a bystander, and standing up for yourself and your classmates. This doesn't mean engaging in a direct conflict, but getting help when you need it!

Let's work hard to continue to improve our school culture at Ecole Maple by being welcoming, kind, thoughtful, and respectful to EVERYONE!

Pizza Day will also be on Wednesday February 26th!

We are also excited to announce that we will be holding a student vote in the gym on Thursday February 27th and getting our older students aware of the democratic process and the power of their individual and collective voices!

Reporting A Student's Absence:

The new student absence reporting system will let you use a mobile app, a website, or an interactive toll-free phone number to report an absence in advance. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.

If your student is marked absent and the absence hasn’t been reported in advance, our new SafeArrival system will attempt to reach the student’s priority contact by telephone to confirm the absence. If our system is unable to reach the designated contacts, school office staff will follow up.
