Preparing for Success
The first days of school are always filled with a mixture of excitement, anticipation, and perhaps a bit of nervousness. It has been heartwarming to witness the students' enthusiasm and their eagerness to engage in the learning process. Our dedicated team of educators has been working diligently to create an environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and a passion for learning.
During these early days, we are laying the foundation for an enriching academic year ahead. The relationships that our students build with their peers, teachers, and staff members play a pivotal role in their overall development. Encouraging open communication, empathy, and respect within the school community is a shared responsibility, and I encourage you to reinforce these values in your home as well.
Enjoy the rest of this beautiful long weekend, and we look forward to seeing your children on Tuesday!
Warmly,
Mr. Lynch

8:05AM Bell - What does it mean for you?
Please remember that the 8:05am bell is a reminder for all of us:
- for students to make their way to their classroom lines
- for parents to make their way to the campus exits
- for teachers to pick up students at their lines and begin the day.
Excessive Heat Protocols
Please Note:
To support the effectiveness of this new policy, any phone and/or watch with messaging capabilities (even without SIM card or on "school mode") may NOT be on a student's person during school hours. These devices should either be left at home or placed securely in your child's backpack. During the school day, ALL student-home communications will take place through the Wildwood office. Thank you for your cooperation.
Wildwood Birthday Guidelines
At Wildwood Elementary, we love celebrating students on their birthdays! Please know that you do not need to send treats or gifts—our teachers take great pride in making sure each child feels special on their big day.
If you’d like to contribute something, please:
-
Do not send food items (including for before- or after-school distribution).
-
Instead, consider small non-edible items (stickers, pencils, etc.) or a class gift such as a board game, book, or puzzle labeled with your child’s name and birthday.
Birthday Party Invitations
To keep things fair and inclusive, staff has agreed on the following guidelines:
-
TK & Kindergarten: Teachers may assist in placing invitations in Wednesday folders only if the entire class is invited.
-
Grades 1–5: Students may pass out invitations after school and outside the classroom if the entire class is invited.
-
If only some students are invited, invitations may not be distributed at school.
By working together, we can make sure every birthday is joyful while supporting the wellness and sense of belonging of all members of our Tiger family.
