Friday Updates

Dear SHS Families,

I hope that our families feel prepared, informed, and most of all excited about the start of National Catholic Schools Week starting with the 9:00 and 11:00 Masses this Sunday. It is a fun way for the school to celebrate its unique identity as a Catholic school each year, and it brings me much joy to spend this time with our students. I encourage you to look at the different communications from the school or check the school’s website for the schedule of events. Most of all, I hope that each family takes the time to discuss with their students how special the gift of a Catholic education truly is. How in these walls they have the freedom to learn not just facts and information, but also how to grow in relationship with their creator and become the masterpieces they were meant to be. From my office to you all, thank you for trusting us with the awesome responsibility of teaching your kids in the Catholic tradition.

As February begins, we will release enrollment information for the 2025-2026 school year, and begin open enrollment. The earlier we can collect enrollment information for the next school year, the easier and more reliably we can make resource purchases, helping the school get the best prices on materials, and provide an accurate landscape of needs in the year to come. Please be on the lookout for that information to be sent out soon.

With Faith & Hope,

Patrick (P.J.) Greer
