The Warrior Weekly

The mission of Waccamaw Middle School is to ensure that each Warrior is provided a strong, standards based academic foundation, diverse extra-curricular experiences, and opportunities to develop ownership and pride in order to create well-rounded, lifelong learners in a safe and supported community.

Next week is FALL BREAK. Enjoy the week off Warriors and we will see you back at school on Monday, October 19.

Your student was given a paper with information to access their school pictures (example of what it looks like below.) Every student will have a Student Identifier number listed that you will need along with the Event Code. The Student ID is unique to each student, so make sure you ask your student for information to view pictures via Jostens.

Make-up pictures will be on Tuesday, October 20. Your student will only do a retake If they were absent on the original picture day or if you have sent an e-mail to Mrs. Hoppe for a retake.

October 20 - Make-up Pictures for Yearbook for students who were absent or parent has emailed Mrs. Hoppe for approval

October 21- PSAT Testing

October 21-Unity Day- Wear Orange!

October 23-Q1 YAA Bowling...Alternate Schedule

October 26-30 - Red Ribbon Week

October 27- SIC Meeting at 6pm in the Celebration Room

November 3 - Election Day- NO SCHOOL

November 11 - Veteran's Day- Early Dismissal 1 pm
