Another school year has flashed past and now KISC is on the long summer break. Term starts again at the beginning of August. See the Primary Splash Day photos and Secondary Whoopee Land Water Park photos on KISC Facebook.
As happens every year, the end of the school year brought a mix of fun events, celebrations of many achievements and yet also many sad goodbyes. To all those students and staff who are leaving, we pray that the future will hold good things for you all. See the pictures on KISC Facebook.
This year nine very special students graduated from KISC during the end of term Graduation Ceremony. The world awaits as they step out to make their mark! See the Graduates Ceremony and Dinner Night photos on KISC Facebook.

Ram Keshar Thapa
Amongst all the great people leaving KISC at the end of this school year, special mention must be made of Ram Keshar. If you have been to KISC, then you will have come across Ram Keshar because he has been here from the beginning. Whichever KISC site you attended, Ram Keshar was there! After working on the KISC staff for 37 years, he is retiring. A skilled carpenter, plumber and electrician, Ram Keshar also served as Site Supervisor on the Dhobighat site and most recently at Thecho. Farewell to a genuine KISC legend! See the farewell and staff social photos on KISC Facebook.
Where are they now?
Rae-Anna Fuschia
My family moved internationally a fair bit during my upbringing, and consequently, I went to many schools - both in my passport country (Canada) and internationally. Other than KISC, the schools I attended were mostly mono-cultural, and because I was an international kid (a Third Culture Kid), my time at KISC were the only school years I felt like I truly shared culture with my classmates. In Canada, I may have looked like I belonged, but I knew I wasn’t of the culture, and had to learn how to fit in, but at KISC, so many of us shared the Third Culture cultural characteristics so I didn’t need to ‘learn’ culture there. Because of this, KISC will always hold a special place in my heart. Read more...
KISC EQUIP
KISC EQUIP recently set up another high quality ICT lab with 20 computers in a school in Nuwakot district. All 29 teachers and 613 students at the school will benefit from this newly set up ICT lab, but the school also wants to engage the local community in learning ICT skills by opening the lab in the morning and evening.
KISC EQUIP partner schools in Rukum celebrated World Environment Day by organising environmental awareness programmes in their respective schools and the local community. Students and teachers of the partner schools participated in different activities such as a clear-up campaign, digging pits to manage waste, and drawing and essay writing competitions.

Staff Recruitment!
We always need new staff at KISC! As a matter of urgency we need a French teacher, a German teacher, a History teacher and an English teacher. If you know of anyone that would be interested, please circulate the website https://www.kisc.edu.np/vacancies and ask them to get in touch! Thank you for your support with this.
