This week at the pantry we had a family thing happening. Everyone in the photo was serving with a family member that day except for one. A legacy of helping the community is created with moments like this.

There were such shocking events last week in the news - celebrity deaths, assassination attempts, and the like. With life being so fragile and not promised, what type of legacy are we trying to leave behind or create?

I pray that we all are trying our best to leave a legacy of God's love, the desire to His Kingdom grow, and to be a part of it. We need to have our own individual time with God. We should be consistent and present at worship. And last but not least, we should be giving back to God our time, talents, and treasure. God has gifted each one of us uniquely, If you are not currently involved in serving Him in some way, what's holding you back? We're all needed.

**As we plan for the program year, how is God calling you to get involved? Can you help care for the nursery on a rotation, teach Junior church, drive, cook, sing? Do you want to deliver food to the homeless, help during the clothing closet or pantry? Do you want to connect with people through BINGO? Movies? Puzzles? Help get us connected more to the community. God has made each one of us unique and will uniquely equip us to take part in building His Kingdom! Let's worship Him in all things - in Spirit and in truth! Please chat with Majors about how you might want to get involved.**

**Sunday School for all ages as well as Junior Church and Nursery will be on break until the school year resumes. Details to come. We thank all of our teachers and pray that they will get a welcome rest to gear up for next year.**
