MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Families,
As we welcome the month of March, I want to thank you for your continued partnership and support. Our school community remains a place where students are learning, growing, and building positive relationships every day.
March brings new energy into our classrooms as students continue to strengthen their academic skills and apply what they’ve learned throughout the year. Teachers are engaging students in meaningful instruction while also reinforcing expectations for kindness, responsibility, and perseverance. We are proud of the progress our students are making—both academically and socially.
This month, we will continue to focus on maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive school environment. Please remind your child of the importance of following school expectations, showing kindness to others, and communicating with a trusted adult if they need help or support.
As the weather begins to change, we encourage families to send students to school prepared for outdoor recess. Fresh air and movement are an important part of the school day and help students stay focused and energized.
Thank you for staying connected through school communications and for reaching out whenever you have questions or concerns. Your involvement plays a vital role in your child’s success. We look forward to a productive and positive month ahead.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful March.
Warm regards,
Jodi Coppolo
Radez Principal

Our school is excited to kick off PARP (Parents as Reading Partners)—a special time dedicated to celebrating reading together at home and at school! PARP encourages families to spend time reading with their children, helping to build strong literacy skills, spark imagination, and create meaningful family connections.
Throughout PARP, students will participate in fun reading activities and challenges designed to make reading enjoyable and motivating. We encourage families to set aside a few minutes each day to read together—any book, any place, any time counts!
Thank you for partnering with us to foster a love of reading and support your child’s success.

Breakfast and Lunch Menus (click on picture)
School Breakfast/Lunch Program:
Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District has been approved to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), funded by the USDA, which allows all students to eat one breakfast and one lunch at school each day at no charge.
A breakfast consists of four components and a lunch consists of five components. For both breakfast and lunch, three components must be chosen and one must be a fruit or vegetable.
Thank you for your continued support of C-R's Food Service Program, a vital ingredient in your child's education and well being.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact the Radez Cafeteria at 518-294-6621 ext. 4126.
Attendance
Missing school for any amount of time can and will have a negative impact on your scholar's learning, achievement, and grades. When your child must be absent, be sure to let us know the reason for the absences. For absences, we ask for a written note upon your child's return to school.
Helpful Tips:
Important: If you need to pick your child up early from school for an appointment, please send a note with your child to school. The note gives your permission for the change and must include: the reason, the date, usual bus number and the name of the person who will be picking up the child, etc. In the event that you need to call a dismissal change in for your student(s), please follow up with an email to Main Office Secretary (mcdonaldh@crcsd.org). The District policy does not permit phone calls to the school for transportation changes. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell at the main entrance and your child will be brought outside to you for you to sign them out.
- Sample Transportation Change Note: “10/19/24 - Dear Classroom Teacher: I will pick up my son, William Blank, at 1:00 p.m. today, 10/19/24 to go to the dentist. He will not ride bus 13. Thank you, Mrs. Blank” (Be sure to include your child’s first and last name.)
