Evergreen Express Family Newsletter

Dear Evergreen Families,

During our PBIS Town Meetings we discussed all the ways acts of kindness are displayed at Evergreen. Now the students can actually "see" our kind acts by reading nearly 500 hearts written on by our students and hung up by our PV Helping Hands Committee. The hearts stretch around Mr. G's entire music room! Enjoy the pictures below.

Please save March 15th to join us for Home and School Family Bingo Night! We had a lots of fun last year and are looking forward to another great event. Look for information soon on how to register for the event.

Just a reminder:

• Registration for Full Day Kindergarten is now open. For more information, please scroll down.

A quick snapshot of what you can find in this newsletter is listed below.

"Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved and believes in the goodness in people."--Roy T. Bennett

Have a wonderful 3-day weekend!

Kind regards,

Your 5th-grade child is mandated by the state of Pennsylvania to have a physical exam completed when entering 6th grade. We are accepting physical exams dated anytime after July 1, 2023. Please have your child's healthcare provider complete the school health physical form and return it to Mrs. McOwen, our school nurse as soon as possible to fulfill this obligation. Forms may also be downloaded from the school district website. If you have any questions, please contact the Mrs. McOwen. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Our PV Helping Hands Committee Helped to hang up our "Conversation Kindness Hearts" which stretched around all 4 sides of the music room. Each student wrote an act of kindness they've done or someone has done for them on hearts.

Mrs. Robinson's AM Kindergarten class shared how they can be "bucket fillers"!

We are planning our Home & School Bingo Event for Friday, March 15th. Please look for more information in the coming weeks on how to volunteer and register for the event.

This is a great event for the whole family!
