PIC Parent Update

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We engaged in various initiatives here at PIC to commemorate Veterans Day. Students have participated in creating a Wall of Heroes, contributed to the Manteno Veterans Home supply drive, and explored the significance of Veterans Day in their classrooms.

On November 18th, we will hold a shoe collection fundraiser for gotsneakers.com. We encourage you to review the information provided below. As the holiday season approaches, please note that students and staff will be on break for Thanksgiving from November 25th-29th.

Fourth-grade parents should save the date for the winter concert, scheduled for December 5th at 6:00 PM in the Peotone High School Auditorium. Additional details can be found in the flyer below.

We are excited to introduce our new Grandgreeter program at PIC. This initiative invites grandparents or stand-ins to volunteer and warmly greet our students as they arrive in the morning, whether by bus or car. If you know a grandparent who may be interested in participating, please complete the form that was sent home. This form is also attached to this newsletter.
