Bobcat News
Week of January 6, 2025
Welcome to 2025!
Parents, Teachers, and Students
Welcome back! We hope you had a restful holiday and are ready to return to our journey of excellence in 2025. Here are a few important items of note as we begin the new year:
- Second semester schedules have been emailed to students and parents. A physical copy was also printed and given to students in their Homeroom/1st Block class. The only permitted schedule changes on January 8 are for any holes in schedules. Students have until January 14 to drop/add classes and they must have a written request from the parent to do so.
- First semester credit recovery will begin on January 15 and will run Mon-Thurs from 3:50-5:00pm through February 12.
- An abundance of communication has been sent home regarding the updated cell phone policy for all schools in South Carolina. Please convey to students that this is not a punishment, it is intended to lessen distractions and improve the learning environment for everyone. Devices are to be turned off and stored throughout the entire school day.
- Finally, one of the key indicators of student success is consistent attendance. Let's work together to strengthen this area of concern.
