A Busy February: What’s New
Updates on StackFord, TCEA, and my work in education
What a Busy February
It’s been a busy start to the year, and I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update on what I’ve been working on, both with StackFord and through my consulting work in education and training.
A lot of behind-the-scenes work has turned into real progress, and I’m excited about where things are headed.
Rebranding to StackFord
StackFord continues to grow as a classroom-ready IT education platform designed to help students move from foundational technology concepts to industry certification readiness.
Over the past few months, my focus has been on refining curriculum, assessments, and delivery, making sure the platform is truly turnkey and teacher-friendly, not just on paper, but in real classrooms.
TCEA Conference Update
I also recently participated in the TCEA Conference, where I had the chance to connect with educators, administrators, and district leaders from across Texas and the country. We even had someone from Alaska drop by the booth! 🥶
Conversations around IT pathways, certification alignment, and workforce readiness were energizing—and consistently reinforced the need for structured, accessible programs that schools can actually implement.
Great returning to TCEA
Meet Shani, my new Sales Director
Shani told me I couldn't go talk to them. 😂
WeTeach_CS Participation
I’m also excited to be working with Region IV, in collaboration with UT Austin, the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), and WeTeach_CS, to support computer science and IT education initiatives focused on high-quality instruction and educator support.
This work closely aligns with my broader mission: helping schools and teachers deliver meaningful, standards-aligned technology education without unnecessary complexity.

Latinas in Tech
I am also happy to announce we are teaming up with Latinas in Tech to offer their members CompTIA training. I will be announcing more about that as we work out the class details.
Consulting Work
Alongside StackFord, I continue to work through my consulting practice.
I’m currently partnering with a national training organization to develop and deliver AI-focused training, while also exploring consulting opportunities with ESCs and school districts across Texas. The goal in each case is the same: helping educators and organizations use technology thoughtfully, effectively, and in ways that genuinely support teaching and learning.
