Sunnyvale ISD E-News

Sunnyvale ISD is grateful to Atmos Energy for presenting Sunnyvale Intermediate School with a check for a brand-new book vending machine, an exciting way to put great books directly into students’ hands.

Atmos Energy Public Affairs Representative Eva Hummel shared that this donation reflects the company’s Literacy Pillar of Giving, which focuses on helping children become confident, proficient readers.

Sunnyvale Education Foundation President Jill Lassen said SEF will support the initiative with a generous book grant to help keep the machine filled with engaging titles for SIS students.

Thank you to Atmos Energy and the Sunnyvale Education Foundation for turning the page on a fun, innovative way to inspire a lifelong love of reading.
