Lynx Students of the Month

Each month, Davis Connect Secondary teachers would like to highlight a few of our students who exemplify what it means to be a Lynx, whether that be in academic achievement or improvement, leadership, or social emotional skills.

Addison is responsive in live lessons and quick to help share the student view and show her peers what to do. I am grateful for her willingness to help and be a leader. (Nominated by Valerie Burgoyne)

Paul always has an optimistic attitude and is engaged in class. He brings great personality and curiosity to my classroom. (Nominated by Stephen Petersen)

I am proud to nominate James as my Science Student of the Month. Enrolled in both Biology and Wildlife Biology, James consistently demonstrates dedication and excellence. He always has his camera on, participates actively in lessons, and submits thoughtful, high-quality work that goes above and beyond expectations—making it a true joy to read and grade. My Student of the Month is Madison! Madison consistently turns in her work on time and puts genuine effort into it. She speaks up in class, asks great questions, and builds on what others say.
