ICAP- Must complete BEFORE May 18th

During advocacies students have been working on their Individual Career & Academic Plan (ICAP). It is very important that students complete this process. It is not just for college bound students. It doesn't take long to complete. See your advocacy teacher or Little Axe High School Google Classroom under "Classwork" and ICAP unit for more information.

Summer School

Summer school letters are being mailed out to parents with student progress reports. Please return that paperwork, quickly. We need to notify our transportation and nutrition departments.

As soon as 2nd semester grades are in we will take a second look at students and class needs to see what we can accommodate. If you have any questions please call the office or e-mail amber.harp@littleaxeps.org.

Attendance during summer school is VERY important. We will have a total of 16 days of summer school. Yes, it can be done but students will be expected to be in attendance every day.

How many credits do I need?

If you are not familiar with high school credits or a Plan of Study, students definitely need to check this video out.

Course selection for next year is open on the STUDENTs Wengage portal. This video will help your students understand what courses they need to take.

Start earning college credit

University of Oklahoma

This summer, students can amplify their Concurrent Enrollment experience by taking five hours of college credit at OU and experiencing life as a Sooner through our Sooner Discovery program, which will occur virtually for the summer of 2021. Sooner Discovery’s goal is to provide high school students a unique and full college immersion experience.

Students can also take classes online or on campus this summer by applying for Concurrent Enrollment. Rising Oklahoma seniors will receive a tuition waiver from the state for up to 18 hours their senior year, so all they would have to pay is a reduced fee rate of $80 per hour! You can find the application here.

Yearbook

I think the QR code below if fixed so that you do not have to login to your school account. Parents should now be able to scan and upload pictures. Sorry for the confusion.

YEARBOOK ALERT:

IT’S LOVED FOREVER

The hand-written notes from classmates. Actual PRINTED photos. The chance to look back at outdated hairstyles. All this and more is why there's nothing like a yearbook.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Even during these unusual times, the Little Axe High School yearbook team is working hard to create a yearbook that is one-of-a-kind and reflects the unique moments that students are experiencing this year.
