Welcome back to a brand new school year at Moss Bluff Middle School! I hope your summer was filled with fun, rest, and memorable moments with family and friends. As your principal, I am thrilled to see our hallways buzzing with energy and excitement once again.

Middle school is a time of growth, discovery, and new beginnings. This year, we will explore new ideas, build strong friendships, and challenge ourselves to reach new heights. Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, know that you are an important part of our school community.

There is a new App that can and will be used throughout the Parish to report things anonymously from your phone, iPad, or computer-The Close Watch App.

Brief Overview: A complaint is received by CPSO and law enforcement will check out the complaint to make sure it is legitimate and will then move forward.

Crimes and thefts can be reported, either in school or out, and it can prevent mass casualty incidents with just a few key strokes.

The MBMS Cheerleaders and Jr. Broncettes are sponsoring a Back to School Dance! It will be held on Friday, September 5th from 6-8 pm in the gym.

Clear Bag Policy to CPSB School Sporting Events

Per revised Policy KGA, CPSB is now requiring that all bags brought to CPSB Sporting Events be clear and shall be subject to search and proper inspection. Stadium chairs are still allowed, but other solid/non see through items such as purses, backpacks, or fanny packs are prohibited. No Metal Containers or Water Bottles

All water bottles and containers entering campus should be plastic ONLY. No metal will be allowed!

Our very own Gunnar Guy is the current Louisiana Jr. BETA Vice President and was elected as Vice President on the National Level! He will help in assisting host the National Convention next summer!

MBMS Honor Band, led by our (recently retired!) band instructor, Mr. James Hearne, won 1st place at the 6th Grade District Honor Band free throw contest this summer!

Way to go out with a win, Mr. Hearne! Enjoy retirement!
