Our first CHIS Color Run will be held on Monday! Students in 5th grade will participate at 10:00 a.m. Sixth grade students will participate at 11:00 a.m. We will have concessions in the afternoon.

Monday, May 20th

• 8:30am T-shirts and Gear will be distributed

• 10:00am 5th grade Run

• 11:00am 6th grade Run

• Before the run all participants will be brought to the front of the school for pictures

• 6th grade participants will spread the color for 5th grade, and 5th grade will spread the color for 6th grade

• All other students will remain in class during the run times

• 11:30 Loose color will be blown off students

• 11:30 All 5th grade Grab n Go Lunch - Students will go out back

• 12:00 All 6th grade Grab n Go Lunch - Students will go to the front

• Concessions will be sold to all students during their lunch time

• Concessions include candy and drinks

• Items will cost no more than $3 per item

• 12:45 Slime Time!! Top Color Run Money Raisers will be able to choose a teacher or house leader to be slimed.

• Kids will sit in the grass out front to watch the festivities

• 1:00 Fire Truck Splash Zone!!! A fire truck will be here to create a splash zone for all students that want to participate.

• If your student wants to participate, they will need: 1) appropriate clothing that can get wet (may want to wear a bathing suit underneath clothing) 2) a towel for drying off 3) a dry change of clothing

Things students will need for the day:

1)Backpack or bag to keep stuff in 2)Change of clothing 3)Clothing appropriate for getting wet 4)Towel 5)Money for concessions

Congratulations to CHIS football players for participating in the Blue and Gold game at CHMS! Students had a wonderful time watching the team play! The Blue team defeated the Gold team 38-36.

Rule 30: After dining in the cafeteria or elsewhere, be responsible for your trash.

Rule 32: On a bus, always face forward.

Rule 33: When meeting new people, shake hands and repeat their name.

Rule 34: When offered food, take only your fair share.

We are so proud of our CHIS students who are participating in the Alice in Wonderland play! Community performances are May 19th at 3:30 p.m. and May 20th at 7:00 p.m. Reserve seating is available at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/82400.
