A Message from Dr. Holt
Dear RFISD Families,
October has certainly been a busy month across RFISD! Between Homecoming festivities, athletic competitions, band performances, and the many activities taking place on our campuses, there has been no shortage of opportunities to celebrate and support our students.
One of the highlights of the month was our Randolph vs. Cole rivalry game at the Alamodome. It was exciting to see our students, families, staff, and community members come together for such a special event. Opportunities like this remind us that being part of RFISD is about more than what happens inside the classroom. The relationships, traditions, and shared experiences are also an important part of what makes our district special.
Our students have also given us plenty of reasons to celebrate throughout the fall. Most recently, our RHS boys’ cross country team and RHS student Caroline Finley earned spots at the upcoming state cross country meet! Congratulations to these outstanding athletes and their coaches on this impressive accomplishment. We wish them the very best as they prepare to represent Randolph at the STATE level!
As we look ahead to November, one event I am particularly excited about is our districtwide Veterans Celebration and Picnic on Tuesday, November 10th. This will be a special opportunity for our students, staff, and families to come together to honor our veterans. If you plan to attend the ceremony and picnic with your child(ren), please remember that today, October 30th, is the deadline to complete the required RSVP form, which can be found on ParentSquare. We look forward to sharing this special occasion with our RFISD families!
Finally, with Thanksgiving just a few weeks away, I want to express my appreciation for the people who make Randolph Field ISD such a wonderful place to work and learn. Our students, staff, families, and community members each play an important role in our success, and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve this district.
I hope everyone enjoys a wonderful November and a restful Thanksgiving break!
Warm Regards,
Dr. Brian Holt
Superintendent

Thank you to all of the students, parents, and teachers who post wonderful pictures that we often use in our district newsletters. We are also especially grateful to Grunt Peterson Studios for generously sharing their talent with us by photographing so many of our athletic events throughout the year and providing the Randolph community access to those pictures free of charge.
