Attendance Code Update
Fremd High School is implementing a new attendance code, TRI, which stands for In-School Truant. This code will be used when a student is present in the building but arrives to class more than five minutes late or leaves class without permission. The purpose of this code is to provide families with more accurate information about their student’s attendance and classroom engagement. The TR code (Truant) will continue to indicate that a student did not attend class and no valid excuse was provided, while the T code (Tardy) will continue to indicate that a student was late to class but arrived within five minutes of the bell. We appreciate your partnership in supporting consistent and responsible attendance habits for all Fremd students. Please reach out to your student's administrator with questions.
