Westmoor Weekly 10/03/2025
October 3, 2025
A Note from Principal Eck
Dear Westmoor Families,
We have an exciting week ahead! We’ll kick things off on Monday with our Bulldog Tie-Dye Shirt activity. On Tuesday, we’re thrilled to welcome our author visit. Wednesday is make-up picture day, and we’ll close the week with Erin’s Law presentations. If you plan to opt out of Erin’s Law, please contact your child’s classroom teacher. Detailed information on all of these events can be found below.
Every month, we celebrate students who exemplify the outstanding values of Westmoor. For the month of September, our focus was on Courage. Courage means being brave when you’re scared or nervous. It’s doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. At the end of the month, we recognized students who demonstrated true courage in their words, actions, and choices. The photo above features these remarkable students, and we couldn’t be prouder of them. Keep showing that Westmoor spirit!
Looking for ways to get your child talking about their school day? Instead of questions that get a simple “yes” or “no,” try some of these fun conversation starters when they get home:
- What was the best part of your day?
- Did anything make you laugh today?
- What’s one thing you learned that surprised you?
- Who did you help or who helped you today?
- If your day was a movie, what would the title be?
- Who did you sit with at lunch today? What did you talk about?
- Did you do anything nice for someone today? Did someone do something nice for you?
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s learning. Wishing you a restful weekend ahead!

Here is the link to share a photo and brief description.
