On Thursday, May 7th the Kindergarten students will be taking a field trip to the DuPage Children's Museum. We kindly request that all students wear their blue Willow Creek T-shirts as well as comfortable gym shoes on this day. Students should bring a labeled sack lunch and disposable drink on this day. It's going to be a wonderful trip!
I Ready Testing Begins This Week
Students will be completing the Spring I Ready Assessment for Reading this week. Please be sure to send your child to school each day with a completely charged device and their charger inside their chrome case. Thanks!
Sight Words
The students have been introduced to all 80 of our sight words. They have worked hard to learn these words and get so excited when they are able to recognize and read them. I appreciate all that you have done at home to help them master these words. We will continue to review all 80 of our words for the remainder of the school year.
Homework
Students will receive a homework packet this week. Please have your child work on this packet and return it to me by Friday, May 8th.
Blackberry Farm Field Trip
The Kindergarten classes will be taking a field trip to Blackberry Farm on May 21st. More information will be coming soon!
No School on May 25th
Please note that there will be no school on May 25th due to the Memorial Day Holiday.

Our last day of school is May 28th. Students will be dismissed at 11:40 this day.
