Principal's Message
Assalam Aleikum!
Dear NISL Families,
Please review important updates below.
Important Tuition Update for the 2026–2027 School Year
We are sharing an important update regarding tuition for the 2026–2027 school year. After careful financial review and long-term planning, the Board of Directors has approved a tuition adjustment to support the continued growth, stability, and quality of our school.
Over the years, we have worked diligently to keep tuition increases as minimal as possible while continuing to provide strong academic and Islamic programs for our students. Like many schools, we continue to face rising operational costs, and this adjustment helps ensure that we can maintain high-quality instruction, retain dedicated teachers, and continue strengthening our programs and facilities.
Please click the link below to review the full Tuition Increase Letter and Chart:
The approved tuition rates beginning in 2026–2027 are:
- Elementary (K–5): $7,000
- Middle School (6–8): $7,000
- High School (9–12): $7,250
These rates are part of a multi-year tuition plan approved by the Board on February 4, 2026, designed to provide predictability and long-term financial sustainability for our school.
We understand that tuition changes can raise questions, and we encourage all families to carefully review the attached letter and charts. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.
We deeply appreciate your continued trust, partnership, and commitment to our school community.
May Allah (SWT) place barakah in our efforts and continue to bless our students and families.
2026–2027 School Calendar (Draft – Pending Board Approval)
We are pleased to share the draft version of the 2026–2027 school calendar to help families begin planning for the upcoming school year. Please note that this calendar is being shared as a draft and is pending formal approval by the School Board. While we do not anticipate major changes, some dates may be adjusted before the calendar is finalized.
We are providing this early version to support your family planning, including vacations, childcare arrangements, and important school events. Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we plan ahead for another successful school year.
We Need Your Feedback! – Parent Surveys Now Open
As part of our commitment to ongoing school improvement, we invite all parents to complete our annual surveys. Your feedback helps us refine our school improvement plans and ensure we are meeting the needs of our students and families. We kindly ask every family to complete two surveys by April 24:
CISNA Islamic Identity Parent Survey
Our goal is 100% family participation! Your responses are anonymous, and your honest feedback will help us make meaningful improvements. The Cognia survey is available in English and Arabic. If you need them in another language, you can use the Google browser translation settings to translate the surveys into your preferred language. Thank you for your continued support and for being an essential part of our school community. Together, we are making NISL better every day!
Sincerely,
Aisha Blagaia
