Celebrating Gifted
December 2025
Greetings to our GT Community!
December is a time for reflection and celebration. We are proud of the growth our students have shown this semesterβin their academic achievements, innovative projects, and the joy they bring to learning. Their success is a testament to the strong collaboration between home and school.
As we look ahead to the new year, we remain committed to providing enriching opportunities that challenge and inspire every learner. Together, we will continue to cultivate a community where talent is recognized, potential is nurtured, and excellence is celebrated.
May this holiday season bring peace, joy, and meaningful moments with your loved ones. We wish you a wonderful December and a bright start to the year ahead.
Warm regards,
FBISD GT Department
News from the GT Parent Advisory Committee (GT PAC) π΅π π’
We're growing - and we need you!
We are actively recruiting parents to serve on our GT Parent Advisory Committee (GT PAC). This is an ongoing effort, and we would love to increase parent representation from every campus.
The GT PAC provides families with an opportunity to:
Β· Learn more about GT programming and services
Β· Give input and feedback on initiatives that support gifted learners
Β· Help strengthen communication between campuses and families
Β· Collaborate on events, resources, and enrichment opportunities
Whether you are new to the GT program or have been involved for years, your voice and perspective matter. Meetings are held throughout the year and are designed to be informative, engaging, and family friendly.
If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please reach out to usβwe would be happy to connect with you!
Together, we can build a strong and supportive community for our gifted students.

They are excited to showcase their projects and articulate the reasoning behind their work.
Project Deadline: February 27th

GT Academy at Quail Valley Middle School π΅π
Imagine the Change, Be the Change, Manifest the Change
This is the first year all three grade levels are working in this vertically aligned conceptual framework to create their Advanced Products. We are excited at the possibilities this alignment will unlock this initial year and in the years to come. GTA students will first Imagine the Change, then Be the Change, and, lastly, Manifest the Change. Each year, and as they matriculate through the GTA, students will practice servant leadership, research skills, creative synthesis and application, and presentation skills while simultaneously teaching others and learning themselves that they can βBe the change they wish to see in the world.β
