University Library: COB Newsletter
Spring 2020
Just a Friendly Reminder...
STAR left Blackboard at the start of Fall 2019. This decision was out of our control, and we are utilizing our best option to continue providing you this service. The new version still covers the areas of the Research Process, Avoiding Plagiarism, as well as the APA and MLA writing styles, but they are now all placed on one website. The title of this website is Academic Tools for the Research Process. The website looks similar to a research guide and has similar features of STAR. A quiz over each tutorial is available, and results can be printed or uploaded into an email or Blackboard.
The welcome page of each COB guide holds the link to the Academic Tools for the Research Process, as well as other links to tutorials designed for the CoB students. As always, please reach out to your Business Librarian with any questions or concerns.

Help Us Improve the Library’s Website!
In an effort to improve the library’s website, we are looking for faculty, students, and staff who may be interested in participating in a usability study later this semester.
What will you be doing in the usability study? We will ask you to complete several short tasks while using our website, and then ask you a few questions about your overall experience and perception of the website. Basically, we want your experience and feedback to guide our future website redesign.
If you are at all interested in participating, please fill out the following form and we will follow up with more information.
