If you missed your initial senior portrait session, makeup pictures will be held on September 14th and 15th in the auditorium.

• Protect Your Class Time: We strongly advise you to schedule your appointment during non-instructional time (e.g., late arrival, early dismissal, etc.) if your schedule permits.
• Leaving Class: If you must schedule your picture during a class period, you must present your email confirmation from Legacy Studios to your teacher. Teachers will not excuse you from class without seeing this confirmation.

Our photography students had an incredible time learning from local professional Amanda Worthy during our Portrait Photography unit! Amanda gave students an insider's look at what it takes to build photography business. Sharing her journey of branching out beyond the Florence area and walked them through professional posing techniques while working with model Shytisha Evans. Thank you to Amanda and Shytisha for sharing your time, talent, and expertise with our classes!

From events to excellence! Students in Mrs. Cooper's U.S. History class worked collaboratively to create a Civil War Chronology, bringing key moments in history to life through research, organization, and creativity. The final result is a powerful visual timeline that showcases their hard work and growing understanding of the events that shaped our nation. Great job, students!

Students in upper level Theatre Arts Honors class collaborated with Mr. Terry’s Music Tech Honors class and narrated children’s books. Theatre students were practicing their voice acting skills and music tech were polishing their recording and producing skills.

First home cross country meet is in the books! Caleb Salois led the way for the boys, finishing 2nd overall in a time of 19:30. Maylee Brown (26:59) finished 12th overall in the girls race to lead the charge for the Lady Bruins.

• Students are expected to be in class by 8:30 a.m. daily. Students arriving after 8:30 a.m. will be considered tardy.
• Personal devices must be powered off and stored in students' bookbags from the beginning of the school day until dismissal.
• Students are expected to adhere to the Florence 1 Schools District Dress Code at all times.
• Chromebooks are to be used for academic purposes only. They should not be used for messaging peers, playing games, or personal activities. Chromebooks are the property of Florence 1 Schools and should be used responsibly and appropriately.
• Students are prohibited from selling items on school grounds unless the sale is part of an approved school fundraiser. Disciplinary consequences will be assigned in accordance with the Florence 1 Schools Code of Conduct.

Please remember that per district policy, anyone signing a student out must be listed as an authorized pick-up in PowerSchool. If you need to add a contact, the parent or guardian must visit the school in person with a valid ID to complete a contact update form. For the safety of our students, we cannot release them to anyone not listed in PowerSchool. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
