Sneak peek! The results are in for the 25-26 Yearbook Cover Contest. This year's contest brought a great deal of creativity and talent. The students' voices have been heard...huge congratulations to Brooks who will have his original artwork featured on the cover! Shout out to second place, Arthur, and third place, Porter. Their entries will be featured on the back cover. Thanks to all the Grade 5 artists that submitted work this year!

Mr. Frosty's Ice Cream Wars

Go to Mr. Frosty’s on Tuesday, March 17th between 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. to earn money for RES and compete against participating Norwalk schools!!

The school with the highest total sales wins:

3% of total sales from all participating schools
Bragging rights + Create Your Own Flavor (You create it. You name it. We make it.)
A school-wide ice cream party at your school, with our team scooping your custom flavor and fan favorites for the entire school!
All in-store and online orders placed directly with Mr. Frosty’s between 6PM–9PM will count toward your fundraiser
Your school earns 10% of total sales during that time

Orders through UberEATS, DoorDash, or other third-party delivery apps will not be included

All participating schools will be featured on our leaderboard throughout the spring.

Get as many families, friends, teachers, and supporters as possible to come out between 6PM–9PM. The bigger the crowd, the bigger the donation and the higher you climb on the leaderboard!

Register for Kindergarten Now to Attend Open House in May

Do you know an incoming Kindergartener for the 2026-2027 school year? Please encourage families to begin registration early. Only registered families will receive information and be invited the Kindergarten Open House in May. Visit the Norwalk Public Schools website to start or call the Main Office for help.
We can't wait to meet our new Kindergarteners!

Let Grow Session 2

This month, we will GROW our ability to Think Outside the Box in an independent way. The Let Grow Project has started and we have many leaves hanging from our tree in the main lobby area near Rey's desk. Students will walk by the board in the next week or so to look at all of the ways their fellow classmates have been growing and maybe even "shop" for some new ideas.
This week you received a packet with the next activity ideas list and a flower template to fill out and color after the activity is complete. Please continue sending any photos to letgrowrowayton@gmail.com so that we can display them on the board.

Grade 5 to 6 Placement Form

All Fifth Grade families are asked to complete the Grade 5 to 6 Placement Form before March 27. This form will assist in the transition from Elementary to Middle School. We are asking that all students submit a form regardless of the Middle School they plan to attend. There is one streamlined form for all families to complete. Thank you!
