A Note from the Principal
Happy March, Ranger Families!
We are fast approaching the fourth quarter of the school year! But first, we will all enjoy a well-deserved Spring Break. There will be no school for students from March 8th until March 17th, with students returning on March 18th. Report cards from the 3rd nine weeks will be sent home the week we return.
Please note - current student registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open through April 9th. If you have not already, be sure to complete the registration process online. Visit www.killeenisd.org/enroll for more information and to register.
As spring nears, please continue to encourage your students to engage positively in learning every day and to interact with others appropriately. We sincerely appreciate your support and engagement in the great things happening at Timber Ridge ES.
In partnership,

Parent and Teacher Partnership
Timber Ridge ES is committed to frequent two-way communication with families about their child's learning. We value and appreciate your partnership as we collaborate to ensure growth and learning for each student. If you have a concern, we ask that you allow us the opportunity to investigate and respond. If the concern is about a classroom situation, we ask that you first attempt to resolve the concern with your child's teacher. If you still have a concern after speaking with your child's teacher, please feel free to reach out to an administrator and we will be glad to assist you.

Counselors' Corner
Dear Ranger Families,
As March unfolds, our focus in social-emotional learning centers around the crucial theme of Trustworthiness. Throughout the month, students will delve into the significance of making personal choices that cultivate trust, emphasizing the values of honesty and integrity.
In the culmination of our No Place for Hate program, we are excited to present the final lesson, "I Am." Your child will be bringing home a blank person template, a unique canvas for their self-portrait. We encourage families to embark on this creative journey together, capturing not only physical traits but also celebrating elements of culture, talents, and hobbies.
This engaging activity fosters a deeper connection between home and school while celebrating the diverse identities within our community. Keep an eye out for these blank person templates in your child's Thursday folders, and we look forward to witnessing the artistic expressions and individuality that will undoubtedly shine through in their self-portraits.
Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your ongoing support in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Warm regards,
Mrs. DeVito, Mrs. Mobley, and Mr. Price
