Principal Message
Dear WCS Families,
Thank you to all parents who were able to join us for our Tutor.com Parent Night! If you were unable to attend, we will be sharing the information with you soon. Tutor.com is a free online resource that students can access through Schoology. More details can be found in our Parent Newsletter.
Our Grade 6 students successfully registered for their 7th Grade classes, and we are grateful to both parents and teachers for their support and guidance with this. Our Grade 5 students enjoyed a wonderful field trip to the Palace Theatre (pictured above), and we sincerely thank our Grade 5 teachers and supporting staff for all of their help in making this a memorable experience.
This week, we also conducted a lockdown and fire drill with the support of WPD and WFD. Students did a great job following protocols, and we are thankful for our continued partnership with both WPD and WFD.
Students voted during Kids Vote on March 10th, and we are excited to announce that our second school dance will be coming soon—stay tuned for more details!
The Harlem Wizards are coming back to Windham! The game will be on Sunday, March 29 at WHS, starting at 4:00 PM with doors opening at 3:00 PM. Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Herard, and a few other staff members will be joining the Wizards on the court for some fun and excitement! We hope to see you there. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

CONGRATULATIONS TO DESTINATION IMAGINATION
I’m happy to share that the 5th graders had a fantastic day at the regional competition in Amherst at Souhegan High School. They performed wonderfully, earned 1st place, and have now qualified for the State Competition on April 11!
Throughout the process they demonstrated teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, creativity, quick thinking, humor, and even a bit of athleticism with their dance moves.
The team members are:
Rowen Karthik
Henry Niles
Oliver Keating
Ryker Ramos
Connor Smith-Chang
Stein Strickland
Sean Westcott
Thank you again for supporting this meaningful after-school program. It provides such a valuable opportunity for students to grow, collaborate, and develop skills that go well beyond what they learn in the classroom. Special thank you to Mrs. Katy Parsons for her incredible support to the team managers and a steady presence for the students who participated this year.
