Mission & Goals

We live in an ever-changing world. Recently, our children have been given a lot to digest. My goal is to support their self and social awareness at a time when they may feel unequipped to handle so many emotions at once while understanding the world in an age-appropriate manner.

The goal of each journey will be to support a child's ability to understand one’s own emotions, and thoughts and how they influence behavior across contexts. Additionally, a diverse group setting will support them to understand the perspectives of and empathize with others.

We will discuss topics such as change, anxiety, self-image, failure, mindfulness, empathy, and many more, where children can build authentic connections and leave feeling in control and empowered to make good decisions because they are self and socially aware.

Proud Mama

My beautiful daughter and I met while living in Shanghai. She is 8-years old and I try my best to ensure she is self and socially aware because I know what the research says about the impact of wellbeing on every other aspect of life. Wellbeing is not another thing on our plates, it IS the plate!

Well Traveled Educator

This is my 20th year in education. I've taught both elementary and middle school in the USA, Hungary, China and Germany. I am now a Health & Wellness Coordinator in New York. I amplify the voices of students who are passionate about giving back while supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of staff and students.

Determined to Make an Impact

Throughout my own personal wellbeing journey and life-changing experiences as I immersed myself in a variety of cultures around the world, I wondered why we weren't equipping our children with these very essential social-emotional skills. Childcor began in 2013 in both New York and Shanghai. Throughout the pandemic, I am even more passionate and motivate about supporting the wellbeing of all children.
