“Empowering Students of the World, for the World”
February 6, 2025
Remember you always have a choice, so CHOOSE KINDNESS!
NO SCHOOL tomorrow Friday, February 7th.
A Note from the Office:
There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 7th.
During the month of February, our school counselor will be discussing the difference between fair and equal with our pre-k through 2nd grade classes. Equality means treating everyone exactly the same. Fairness means treating people according to their needs. Understanding fairness and equality goes hand-in-hand with increasing students' tolerance and appreciation for diverse learners. Ask your students what the difference is between fair and equal!
In our 3rd-5th grade classrooms, we will be taking a close look at what peer conflict is all about and how we can respond to it. We'll talk about how to prevent and handle the harm done by rumors, gossip, teasing/roasting and social exclusion. Ask your students one thing they can do if they encounter peer conflict!

EECS PTO
Please visit our PTO website HERE to get a feel for what we do and what we hope to do this year. We are a group of parents working to support the kids and staff at EECS in every way we can. We did a lot of great stuff last year, and we'd like to do it again this year. We need a lot of help with this!
You can you make RECURRING DONATIONS to our PTO? (Please click HERE). This helps us do more - we have big plans to send these kids on field trips, fund swim lessons, and have even more community and cultural events! Help us make them happen!
Meet the Board Members HERE.
