Dear Rosebud Families,

The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our highest priority. We are currently experiencing an extremely high volume of vehicles in our car rider lane, which has resulted in significant delays and, more importantly, safety concerns. We have experienced instances of individuals exiting their vehicles, not following established dismissal procedures, and even vehicle accidents.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of bus transportation as this is a safe and convenient option. Reducing the number of vehicles on campus will help decrease traffic congestion and create a safer dismissal environment for everyone.

If you have not completed your Free or Reduced Lunch Application, you can do that here. Students much reapply each year in order to receive reduced lunch prices.

GCPS utilizes two important platforms that you need to know about as a parent. We know it can be confusing about which is which sometimes. Take a minute to review these quick reference links and videos to better understand the difference in the Parent Square and ParentVue platforms.

💻Parent Square: School-to-home communication platform that is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your child’s school and Gwinnett County Public Schools. Learn more tips and features of Parent Square here!

💻Parent Vue: Easy access and one go-to location for need-to-know information about their student’s education—from records to resources. The ParentVUE app gives parents access to grades, assignments, and more. Learn more tips and features of ParentVue here!
