No School Tuesday- Teacher Professional Development Day
No school or afterschool on Tuesday
Our teachers and teacher assistants will be attending a professional development day on Tuesday, so there will be no school for students. It is not a remote day, so there will not be extra work going home with students. Thanks!
Book Fair This Week!!
The Book Fair is just one week away! This September 28-Oct 2, we are hosting a Literati Book Fair. This is a perfect chance to create some beloved Book Fair memories with your child!

- Buy a gift card for your student so that they do not need cash the week of the Fair (it works like the Ewallet of a Scholastic Book Fair). You can share this Link with relatives and friends who might like to contribute Book Fair money to your child.
- Purchase a book to donate to your child's classroom. Teacher wish lists are posted online.
- Volunteer to work at the Book Fair. Sign up by clicking HERE or scanning the QR Code.
- Come out to a Family Event:
- 7:30 am - 8:00 am Thurs & Fri 10/1 & 10/2
- 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm Thursday 10/1
Penny Wars
Boys vs. Girls!
We will be having our annual penny war (change war) during our book fair this week! It will be a competition with boys vs.girls from each grade level. The winners will get ice cream during lunchtime! Ex. if the girls in third grade win, all the girls will get ice cream!

Encourage your child to eat breakfast and lunch so we can continue to get free meals for our students!

Students in Mrs. Capps' class wrote about the Westward Expansion and created a covered wagon, while students in Miss Brownings' class were reviewing their letter sounds with our Fundations program.
