Our first PTA meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 22 at 7 pm. The meeting will be in-person.

A Board of Education Representative, Gina Winters, will provide information about the Bond Referendum, the impact on Knight and our district if the bond passes, and answer any questions you have.

We will be meeting in the APR.

We've been awarded two grants for the school year:

• 10K grant to involve the community in the creation of a community garden at the school
• 13K grant to create an outdoor mural with a visiting muralist

We have some parents on the committee and would love to have more. Any meetings we hold will be virtual, and parents can decide the level of involvement they would like to have depending on their schedules.

Hello ARK Fam!

One of the Knights of the Round Table (KORT) projects for this year that will be visible at ARK beyond the garden is the arrival of Planet Aid! Two Planet Aid bins have been been placed at the front of our school building. You can miss the two gigantic yellow bins.

KORT will be doing an official kick-off in the coming weeks- but in the meantime, please feel free to drop any clothing or textiles into the bins. Please also share the attached flyer with your families. Beyond simply recycling, and doing well for the planet, ARK will also receive money back from materials collected, based on the weight of items donated.
