Dear LMS Families,

Welcome to the start of an incredible new school year at Linden Middle School! I hope your summer was filled with rest, relaxation, and memorable moments with loved ones.

LMS has gone through a facelift during the summer. The classrooms had new Smartboard technology installed along with computers and updated phone systems. Other parts of the building have been updated too, including lighting improvements and a new roof among other things.

The entire LMS staff is looking forward to seeing all of the smiling faces at the open house on August 17th and on the first day of school, August 19th. We are fully committed to fostering a safe, encouraging, and academically challenging environment where every student can thrive. Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to make this year filled with #LindenEaglePride!

LMS Parent Group

We will continue to have parent meetings during the 2026-2027 school year. The focus will be school improvement and extra opportunities for LMS students. If you are interested in being part of this group please email me and I will add you to the distribution list. Look for the initial meeting to be held at LMS in October. kenders@lindenschools.org

Assistant Principal's Corner

I hope everyone has had a great summer and you are excited for another school year. We have a great staff here at LMS and everyone is excited to see the kids walk through the doors on August 19th. The expectations for our building are very high and the students do a tremendous job reaching them. Students have a great time and hold themselves accountable while attending LMS. When students need redirecting and a teachable moment is needed with behaviors, we take tremendous pride in doing so. This has created an environment here that allows students to succeed and come to school for the right reasons.

We will continue to enforce our no cell phone policy, especially now that the state has adopted this into law. We have enforced that rule for the last two years and our students do a great job with it. It is amazing to see them interacting and having as much fun as they do instead of being on their phone all day. If and when we see students with their phone, it will be an automatic parent pick-up. Consequences will intensify if this becomes an issue with individual students, but we truly don't anticipate it to.

Offense 1 - Turned into office - parent pick up.

Offense 2 - Turned into office - parent pick up and after school detention.

Offense 3 - Turned into office - parent meeting and after school detention.

Offense 4 - Suspension - persistent disobedience.

We are excited for students to start this school year and for us to offer all students a safe and secure school building. Have a great end to your summer and we will see you soon!
