A Message from Ms. Osmerg
Dear Jaguar Families,
Over the past few weeks, I have visited each classroom to read the story What Do You Do with a Problem? In the story, the students learned that problems have opportunities. There is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to be brave! From PreK to fifth-grade, we are ready to face our problems and look for the opportunity! Ask your child about the story and what he/she learned from the story!
Over the summer, new door intercom systems were installed throughout Fulton County Schools. We now have 2 intercom buttons that you will need to press in order to enter the building. We know that safety is not always convenient, so we thank you for your patience. Please remember to not let anyone follow you into the building. To help families know how to navigate the new intercom system, we created a short video. Thank you for watching!
Finally, due to enhanced security measures, the district has instituted an email quarantine for incoming messages. This means that occasionally, emails, especially new or unfamiliar ones, may be delayed or temporarily held before being delivered to our inbox. We will do our best to review and respond to messages promptly. However, if you do not receive a response within 24-48 hours, it may be due to this quarantine process.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via phone or send a note to your child’s teacher. Your questions and concerns are important, and I want to make sure they’re addressed without unnecessary delay.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to maintain the security of our communications while serving you as efficiently as possible.
Have a #AHE-mazing week!
Jill Osmerg
