π¬ A Note from Mr. Zach DeVito
Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
It was great to return to the rhythm of a full week of school. This week, our students engaged in several advisory lessons focused on college and career readiness, helping them begin to envision their future pathways. We also had many students participate in welcoming our future 6th graders during Expo Night. We received numerous compliments on how kind, respectful, and welcoming our students were, and it was evident that our future Jaguars left feeling excited and energized about middle school next year.
Course selection is now open for all current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. Please take time to review and discuss elective options for the upcoming school year. Additional information is provided below.
Have a great weekend. Go Jags! π

UIL Top Finishers
On January 31st, Jones Middle School students participated in one of two UIL district competitions. Awards were given to top finishers in categories ranging from writing, math, speaking, spelling, and more. In some cases, students were competing against as many as 60 other students from across Prosper ISD. Students placing in the top 6 earned a medal. Congratulations to our top finishers, and thank you to everyone who participated!
