🎃 Fall Self Care Ideas 🍁
- Connect with nature! As the season is changing, it may feel easier to stay inside and on the couch. Take a mindful walk through your neighborhood or on a trail. Take in the colors of the changing trees, and walk into relaxation!
- Fall family activities. Visit a pumpkin patch, take a hayride, or go apple picking with people you care about! Not only will you be enjoying the outdoors, but you can also be starting new traditions.
- Give back to others - volunteer! Focusing on supporting others and paying it forward, can take the pressure off personal stressors. Try volunteering at an animal shelter, food bank, or even with younger children to share your strengths!
- Find a new hobby or pick up a good book or show! There will be days that getting outside for some fresh air may not be possible. Sometimes finding a new hobby or starting something new indoors can revitalize yourself for the winter.
- Practice gratitude - year round! Practicing gratitude can be as simple as starting or ending your day with thinking of something good that happened in your day. This can help shift your mindset to be positive and overall happieness.
