Happy Friday DKMS families! We have had another eventful week here in the middle school!

I would like to thank our student council and Mrs. Lebeck for putting together our Spirit Week. There are tons of pictures in this newsletter showing how our students and staff got into the Halloween spirit this week. I would also like to thank our DK PIE group for setting up a Jack-O-Lantern finding contest, where students were able to earn candy for finding Jack-O-Lantern tickets around the school building.

Today is the final day of the first marking period. Teachers will be finalizing students' grades over the next few days and we plan on emailing report cards next Friday November 8, 2024. If you need to update your email or have questions about PowerSchool, please contact the middle school office at (269) 623-1541. Monday is a fresh start with grades and we hope all of our students will have a strong academic start to the second marking period.

Next Friday, November 8, 2024, at 1:30 pm in the high school gymnasium, we will be having our Veterans Day Tribute. We would love to have our Delton community come honor our local veterans with us. If you have more questions about our veterans day tribute please contact the middle school office at (269) 623-1541.

As always, I am very proud and thankful for all of the hard work our students, staff, families, and community do for our school. Be it Donkey Basketball, Trunk or Treat, Halloween parties, or pumpkin decorating contests, our DKMS community shows up to support our students and our district. We cannot do what we do without your support! Have a great weekend!!!

I JUST CAN'T HIDE THAT PANTHER PRIDE!!! GO PANTHERS!!!

We had so many amazing pumpkin creations from our 5th and 6th graders that we couldn’t fit them all in one newsletter!

Here’s just a glimpse of the creativity and hard work our students put into this year’s

Pumpkin Creation Contest.

Great job, everyone!

Please follow and double check with Eventlink and your child's coach to ensure there are no schedule changes.

Thank you!

The athletic department has implemented some new tools and strategies to streamline communication and transparency throughout the department. These new programs should help streamline communication, event ticket purchases and potentially some registrations in the near future.

* Eventlink.com is where information for athletic events and facility usage can be found. Tickets and season passes can be purchased through Eventlink, and you are able to customize your experience by choosing which sports you would like communications from.

* Finalforms.com is where physicals and other important documents should go. These documents can be uploaded by your phone by taking a picture of the document.

* The Athletic Department would prefer all pay to participate payments go through this virtual portal for all Middle School and High School athletes.

Pay to Participate Fees can be paid HERE

* Hudl.com is where fans can subscribe to watch live streams of home events that occur at the turf stadium or the High School main gymnasium.
