Bellerive Bulletin
August 16, 2026
Dear Bellerive Families,
We were excited to see so many of you at Popsicles on the Playground last week. It was wonderful to reconnect with our Bellerive leaders and see their enthusiasm for the new school year.
This week, contractors will put the final touches on the building and grounds as the renovations funded through Prop S come to a close. Meanwhile, our teachers and staff are preparing to launch an exciting year of “Leading Across the Galaxy!”
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events. All the details are below!

Traffic Notice for This Week
August 16 - 23
As we look forward to welcoming you back for upcoming school events, we want to flag a major regional event that will affect local travel. The BMW Championship is coming to Bellerive Country Club from August 18 - 23, with infrastructure build-out already underway.
There is no public or general spectator parking in the immediate vicinity of Bellerive Country Club. All tournament spectators are required to park off-site at The Family Arena and utilize complimentary event shuttles.
Due to strict law-enforcement checkpoints, daytime pedestrian/bicycle bans on sections of Ladue and Mason roads, and an absolute ban on rideshare traffic on Ladue Road, please expect significant delays near our campuses. We encourage utilizing navigation apps like Waze, which are updated with tournament-specific closures, to plan your trips to our school buildings during this week.
Accessing Bellerive Elementary via Olive Blvd. and Fernview Dr. will likely be your easiest route to Bellerive during this time. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.

Register for 4th & 5th Grade Strings
It is registration time for the 2026-2027 Parkway 4th & 5th grade Strings Program. Our strings classes are open to all students continuing in 4th & 5th grade. The weekly music instruction is free and provided by certified string teachers. We are pleased to provide this learning opportunity for your student.

Counselor Assignments for 26-27
Bellerive counselors switch back and forth every year between serving grades K, 2, 4 and grades 1, 3, 5 so they are always working with their same cohorts of students as the students matriculate through Bellerive!

Back-to-School Reminders from the Nurse
Mrs. Michelle Osterholt
"Nurse O"
314-415-6060
The School Nurse's main goal is to keep our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. To help us get off to a smooth and healthy start, here are a few quick but important reminders from our school nurse:
Health Forms & Immunizations: Please ensure all updated immunization records and medical forms are submitted before the first day of school. Keeping these up to date ensures your child doesn't miss any valuable class time.
Health Updates: If your child had a change in their health status over the summer—such as a new diagnosis, severe allergy, surgery, or new medication—please reach out to the nurse directly so we can develop a plan of care for your child.
PTO Picnic
Get a head start on the school year! If you are new to Bellerive or haven't utilized this convenient resource previously, please link the Bellerive school calendar to your personal calendar (Outlook, Google Calendar, iCalendar, etc.) to receive automatic updates and have quick access to school events.
Back-to-school dates are already listed and additional dates are coming soon!
