1. Student drop off begins each morning at 7:30a.m. Do NOT drop off children before 7:30am, as there is no supervision prior to that time.

2. Both lanes will be utilized for unloading students. There will be no drop off in the parking lot.

3. PLEASE DO NOT DROP STUDENTS OFF IN THE PARKING LOT! THIS IS DANGEROUS!

4. The first car in the drop-off line should enter into the unloading zone and pull all the way down to the last pole on the sidewalk labeled (A). The following car in line should proceed to the next pole labeled (B), the next car will pull to the pole labeled (C), the following car will pull to pole labeled (D), the next car will pull to pole labeled (E), then the following car will pull to the pole labeled (F) without leaving spaces between vehicles.

5. When all unloading pole stations are filled with cars, our traffic controllers will stop the remaining cars until the previous cars have safely unloaded and been signaled to exit.

6. The student will exit the vehicle on the right side of the car if they are dropped off in the right lane. The students will exit the vehicle on the left side if they are dropped off in the left lane. Students in the left lane will walk to the cross walk and wait for an adult to support them crossing the cross walk.

7. Once the first set of cars have been unloaded, the cars will be signaled by traffic patrol member to slowly exit so the next set of cars can enter the unloading zone.

***Students may not be dropped off in the parking lot. This poses a significant safety issue. The Alberta School of Performing Arts and TCS will not be liable for any bodily injury or car damage due to dropping off students in the parking lot. ***

To help us get you in and out of the carpool lane quickly, please remember your carpool tag

  • Complete the car tag with the name (first and last) and grade level of each student riding with you.

  • Write each name neatly and largely to be read from afar.

  • Place the tag on your dash near the windshield (on the passenger side) upon arriving on campus.

***A green car tag was sent home with beginning of school year documents. If you need an additional car tag, we will pass them out next week in the car line OR you can print the attached car tag prior to arriving on campus to pick up your child.
