A Message from the PTO Board
Hello Washington District Families,
Welcome to another exciting month at Washington District Elementary School! We are so grateful for all the support we've received from our families and staff so far this school year. Our recent, Harvest Festival, was a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without our incredible community.
Looking ahead, we have several opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference. We can't wait to see you at our upcoming December Paint Night. As always, thank you for your commitment to our students and school.
Sincerely,
Deidre Bruno, PTO president
Jessica Suthard, PTO Vice President
Christina Gruszecki, PTO Secretary
Jade Lopez, PTO Treasurer
PTO Member Spotlight
This month, the PTO is honored to recognize a long-time friend and dedicated member of our school community, Linda Snyder.
Linda recently lent her time and talent to the success of our Harvest Festival, helping to oversee the creation and organization of all the children's games. Over the past month, Linda worked diligently, demonstrating wonderful creativity and care in developing engaging, low-cost activities for the event.
A true believer in the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle, Linda’s efforts truly reflected her core belief: that with a little ingenuity, we can create something special for the children using limited resources. Her thoughtful approach ensured a memorable and enjoyable experience for all who attended.
Linda has been connected with our school community for many years, with all of her grandchildren having attended WDES. When asked about her motivation, she simply shared: "I do it for the kids. Every single one of them. It was worth the effort and hard work. It is truly my pleasure to give back to WDES. They have been very special to our family."
The PTO extends its sincere thanks to Linda Snyder. Please join us in appreciating her for the many hours and warmth she invested in making the Harvest Festival such a wonderful event for our students.
