Superintendent's Letter Superintendent's Letter

Dear Bristol Township School Community,

I hope today finds you and your family well as we head into March, and hopefully some warmer weather.

Truly appreciate everyone’s support as we have navigated some brutal winter weather over the past month, and a note of gratitude to our operations, facilities and transportation teams for all their work and efforts in dealing with tough conditions to get our schools and buildings ready and our students safely to school.

As a reminder, we have now used both "Snow Days" built into the school calendar, and any future weather-related closings will be "Remote Learning Days."

Our February Smore highlights Black History Month, talented musicians representing the District at the county and state levels, athletic accomplishments, and much more. Additionally, read all about our senior spotlight, Rachelle Dennis, who is an excellent example of the Tiger Spirit!

Please enjoy this month's newsletter!

Sincerely,

Michael Nitti

Superintendent of Schools

Trade, Union, & Industry Career Fair

Nearly 30 organizations representing a wide range of career pathways joined Truman High School to connect with students and share real-world opportunities beyond the traditional college route. Students visited the fair, asked questions, and learned firsthand about the skilled trades, unions, and post-high school career opportunities.

This was a great example of how we are expanding access to post-secondary pathways and helping students explore what’s next as they navigate the post-high school 3-E Pathways: Enrolled, Enlisted, or Employed!

Through March 31 at the Levittown Giant (4001 New Falls Rd.)

BTSD is once again proud to be part of the GIANT Feeding School Kids initiative! Through March 31, you can round up at the register to support our school district’s efforts working to eliminate childhood hunger.

Through this initiative, BTSD and other public school districts can use funds to support meal programs to expand food distribution programs, create on-campus food pantries and gardens, supply extra weekend meals, and eliminate outstanding student meal debt.

Through last year's program, BTSD received $8,071.21 for our food service department. Let's raise even more in 2026!
