Game Etiquette:

Please remember that when students are at games - Junior High OR High School - they must sit in student sections and be respectful.
At football games, CJHS students may sit with their parents or the JH bleachers.
Students may NOT congregate behind the stands or under the JH bleachers.
Students may not go to the visitor side.
During Varsity games, the field is off limits for anyone that doesn't have a field pass.
During Varsity games, nobody may walk across the field to get to the visitor's side or vice versa.

Parent/Fan Etiquette:

UIL has created a Parent Info Handbook with a Code of Conduct. Link
Please remember that your children have coaches that they are expected to listen to, not voices in the stands.
Please remember that words hurt. A good rule of thumb (as an experienced sports mom - who has messed up more times than I wish...) praise hard work and work ethic and sleep on the rest. There will be tomorrow to discuss the game and play.
Finally - please contact the coach for any concerns you have after 24 hours. Coaches are instructed not to discuss game play on the night of the game.
A new Texas law (Senate Bill 2929) allows game administrators to eject fans from the game with no prior warning. Common reasons for this are yelling/cussing at the refs in an unruly manner, yelling/cussing at athletes on either side in an unruly manner, and yelling/cussing at other fans. I don't anticipate any issues this year, if you're upset, please come talk to me - I will be at all homes and I don't mind listening. I appreciate your support in this - and ALWAYS being the best fans!
