Staff Shoutouts
- John Schoenrock - You can always here teaching going on and learning commencing when you walk by Mr. Schoenrock's room! He is one that pushes high expectations and his students rise to the occasion. Thank you for always bringing your best for our students each day!
- Brian Evans - If you need a smile, head on through Mr. Evans' room as his students are learning what rhythm is or how to hit those higher notes without screeching. If he isn't doing that, then he is off helping our ELL students become better oriented with vocabulary and visuals!
- Cindy Lorentzen - If you are looking for visuals on what has happened in our country's history, just stroll down the hallway and take a look at Mrs. Lorentzen's wall! It is lit up with many historical figures and events that have happened in the past and really brings learning alive for our 4th and 5th graders!
Kindergarten Roundup!!!
Both morning and afternoon registration sessions are available. The Kindergarten handbook will be reviewed, and registration forms will be completed. Parents are encouraged to bring Kindergarten physical documentation, immunization records, and the child’s original birth certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics. Letters confirming your registration session will be mailed on or around the second week of April.

Message from Mr. Tejkl
"Seesaw of life..."
Good evening!
I am hopeful that everyone had a great spring break and you were able to get out and do something for you, with your family or just be able to get away. Some may think that it feels weird or we should feel guilty for not always doing something school related but know that it is perfectly fine to step away for a bit when you can! Some are wrapped up with events that go on through break as well which is great because you are doing them because you love them. Never feel guilty for enjoying time for you or others!
Life is a constant rollercoaster or seesaw it seems. When things are going good, you usually see the bottom come at some point. If you are balanced, your mind is wondering which way this could go because it seems a little "too quite" around here (we feel that at school some days with our students ha/jk). The thing is life isn't always going to be a "on top of the world" moment for us. We will have to take the blows of life and continuing to catch ourselves as gravity brings us down. It is up to us though to catch, push up and get back to the top.
It may take a few times to accomplish it but never give up. Know you have someone on the other side who is there to support you and balance life as much as they can. As we move into the fourth quarter, let's remember to give it our all and not be satisfied with what we have done in the path. We have done AMAZING things this year but don't rest on those laurels. Continue to push and exceed those goals you have set for yourself. Keep rising to the top, preparing for a little drop and continuing to work hard to balance if out just right. I know you can do!
Have a great rest of your Monday and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"Life is your seesaw. You may not stay balanced long, but you can aim for a high after every low."
Sanita Belgrave
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
