We look forward to celebrating the holiday season and showcasing our students' hard work! Additional details about the evening's schedule and arrangements will be shared as the concert approaches.
Inclement Weather Reminders
With the winter season almost here, the school has a few reminders for families:
Ensure students have clothing appropriate for expected weather conditions.
If weather conditions are bad enough to impact student transportation, Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) advises families directly, and posts updates on social media and eips.ca.
Decisions regarding bus cancellations are guided by an EIPS administrative procedure that states, “school bus service may be suspended…when there is a forecast or current temperature of -40 C, including wind chill factor, in one or more regions.” Other reasons for suspending or delaying school bus services include adverse weather and poor road conditions.
When school bus services are suspended, schools remain open to students.
For more information, contact EIPS Student Transportation at 780-417-8151.
Rock Your Socks, Mocs and Crocs Day
Wednesday, November 18
On Wednesday, November 18, we're celebrating kindness, inclusion and the differences that make each of us unique! Students are invited to wear their favourite colourful socks, moccasins or Crocs as a fun way to show that while we may look different, we all belong. Together, let's spread kindness and support one another.
Kitchen Party: November 17

The sessions are free and geared toward parents, caregivers, teachers and community members who want to learn more about challenges impacting children and adolescents. This November’s sessions are focused on understanding anxiety.

Annual Plans to Guide our Work in the Year Ahead
Throughout Elk Island Public Schools, each school annually develops a handful of plans to guide its work throughout the school year. The Guide to Reporting Student Achievement (GRSA), School Education Plan (SEP) and Personal Mobile Device (PMD) Plans for the 2026-27 school year are now available! These documents all support success for students and schools across the Division, aligning with the EIPS Four-Year Education Plan: 2026-30 (Year 1)
The GRSA explains how the school assesses student achievement, determines grades and more.
The SEP details the school’s priorities and goals for the year—with key strategies and measures in achieving these outcomes.
The PMD plan outlines each school’s policy on the use of personal devices at school.
You can access Woodbridge Farm’s GRSA, SEP and PMD plan through the corresponding home page tiles at https://www.woodbridgefarms.ca/.
