MPE Weekly Family Newsletter
April 20-- April 24, 2026
Welcome Jet Families!
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be taking their Math STAAR tests this Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The campus will be closed to visitors and volunteers. This includes eating lunch with your child (ren).
It is really important that our students get a good night sleep and are present on testing days. If possible, please schedule any appointments around testing days. This is the final STAAR test for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, and we are so proud of them!
YAY!!! We met our Attendance Goal of 95% last week! Thank you students and parents for coming to school everyday! Let's keep leveling up and meet it again this week! This is three weeks in a row!
Don't forget to see who our "Guess the Staff" was last week. It is at the bottom of the newsletter. Will you guess this week's staff member?
Arrival and Dismissal Safety
Thank you for your patience at arrival and dismissal. We have a lot of JETS that are car riders and walkers, and safety is our
#1 priority.
In order to make sure that these busy times go smoothly and safely, we want to make sure everyone knows the procedures for arrival and dismissal times.
Doors open for Morning Drop-Off at 6:45 am, through the cafeteria. There is only one lane for parent drop-off in the morning. The lane closest to the curb is the lane for morning drop-off.
DIsmissal is at 2:50 pm, and car riders are dismissed through the cafeteria. There are two lanes for car rider parent pick-up. The two lanes closest to the curb are used for pick up. Please be patient and courteous to each other, as there is only one entrance.
Finally, please make sure that you are not blocking any intersections, walkways, or crossroads. We want everyone to be able to get where they need to go in an orderly and safe manner. Many students walk home and need these spaces to be open and clear. This includes the intersection of Misty Ridge and Frontier Ridge.
