Google Chrome Extensions are browser extensions that modify the Chrome browser. In this course you will learn how to access the 'chrome extension store', download a chrome extension and how to use it to help make your life easier. I have my top 11 favorite chrome extensions for you to try out! The BEST part is that your chrome extensions can follow you from your work computer to your home computer because it based on your log in information...I love technology!

This extension will take an entire screenshot of the webpage and save the image to your drive.

Click on the extension while on a page and it will automatically provide you with a shortened URL.

Print Friendly

You can select items on a page to delete (such as ads, pictures, added text) Helps cut down on paper!

Google Dictionary

  • Highlight a word in an article or reading passage & click on the Google Dictionary Icon. It will provide you the definition of that word.

One Tab

Collapses all open tabs into a list. This will help the computer from freezing up while you are working.

A way to create screenshots! (Clip part of a page, selected area or the entire page) You have the power to edit and add features to the image.

Speak It

Highlight text on a page & select the extension. It will read the text to you.

This removes the ads that are distracting and sometimes inappropriate when viewing YouTube videos. It also allows you to view the video in its own window.
