Dear Haymarket Families,

As we welcome spring, we are proud of the progress our students continue to make each day. Classrooms are filled with engaged learners who are rising to high expectations and showing meaningful academic growth. We are also seeing positive student behavior throughout the building, with students demonstrating respect, responsibility, and kindness toward one another. These efforts are helping create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Spring is always a busy and exciting time of year. I encourage you to review the important dates in this newsletter to stay informed about upcoming events and activities. While the season brings a full calendar, it also gives us an opportunity to celebrate the successes we have achieved so far and look forward to continued growth and accomplishment in the months ahead. Haymarket Students Shine at PWCS Elementary All County Chorus Haymarket Students Shine at PWCS Elementary All County Chorus

Three Haymarket Elementary 5th grade students proudly represented the school this weekend at the annual PWCS Elementary All‑County Chorus, an event that brings together talented young vocalists from across Prince William County.

Elizabeth O., Lily C., and Maeve G. were selected earlier this year and have spent the past several months rehearsing in preparation for the countywide performance. Their dedication and enthusiasm culminated in a remarkable concert held Saturday afternoon at Colgan High School, where students from schools across the division came together to perform a beautifully crafted program under the direction of county music educators.

Haymarket Elementary celebrates the hard work and accomplishments of Elizabeth, Lily, and Maeve and commends them for their commitment to the arts. Their participation highlights the strength of the school’s music program and the value of artistic opportunities for students.
