3 Finalists Selected: Help name Oshkosh's new westside middle school!

We are excited to take the next step in naming our new westside middle school, scheduled to open in Fall 2028! The new school will consolidate South Park Middle School and Perry Tipler Middle School, located on the former Shapiro STEM Academy site.

Last month, we invited our community to share naming ideas for the new school. Thank you to everyone who participated! Based on your feedback, our Facilities Committee selected three finalist names.

Click here to learn more and take the final naming survey!

This final survey will remain open until Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Senior Health visits Miravida Living

On Wednesdays our Senior Health class travels to Miravida Nursing Home where they work on empathy, gratitude, and compassion for our neighbors. We are helping with the music portion of the scheduled activities. Our students are learning that some of the residents were teachers and or students at Oshkosh West High School. Many have experience in the field that some students wish to go into after they graduate. We are building positive relationships and learning at the same time.
