Coffee and Conversations - September 29th @ 8:15AM

Our second Coffee and Conversations will be Friday, September 29th. We will meet in the WEST room at 8:15. These meeting will be ran by our wonderful attendance clerk and parent liaison, Erica Greene, and will feature other school staff, district staff, and community partners who want to sit down and hear about the needs and concerns of our community while also just catching up. We will have some coffee and light snacks to enjoy, so please join us!

Can't make it? We will be hosting these once a month and hope to see you at one soon.

K-12 College Week: September 18th - 22nd

San Juan Unified School District's K-12 College Week begins next week and stands as an excellent opportunity to encourage students to explore their futures, regardless of their grade level.

Staff are encouraged to show their spirit and participate in K-12 College Week programming. For the full schedule of the district's activities, visit www.sanjuan.edu/collegeweek.

Income Verification Forms - Win a PRIZE!

Income verification forms will be sent home if you have not already completed them. These forms are also available in the office and online: School Funding Jot Link Form.

These forms help provide funding for Greer, so please fill them out and we will enter you in a raffle for -

4th and 5th Grade Choir

We are excited to offer an after-school choir program taught by one of our music teachers, Mrs. Ramirez. Choir is a free program where your student will learn to sing and perform with a group, while making lots of friends along the way. Starting September 11th, choir will meet twice weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:10pm - 3:30pm in the music room (F1).

At this time, choir is available to 4th and 5th grade students only. For more information, see the permission slip attached or e-mail Mrs. Ramirez at theresa.ramirez@sanjuan.edu

Greer Elementary - Pick-Up Times

Please make sure that your student is being picked up close to our dismissal times. If there is an emergency, please contact the office at (916)971-7157. We will not allow students to sit out front for longer than thirty minutes. We will be bringing students into the office and will be calling home.

Kindergarten dismissal is every day at 11:45AM.
1st-5th dismisses at 2:10PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
1st-5th dismisses at 12:45PM on Thursday.

Would you like to volunteer?

Volunteers are a great asset to our school communities! All volunteers must complete the one-time verification process found at www.sanjuan.edu/volunteer (a flyer is also available to print). If cleared through our most recent online system (starting 2021), you do not have to re-do their application/prints each year. To accommodate our volunteers, we've increased the number of volunteer walk-in fingerprinting clinics. Should you have any questions, please call (916) 971-7935.
